Walla Walla Cruisers October Meeting @ The Modern

Meeting brought to order at 7:00 pm.

September minutes: no changes or revisions

TREASURER'S REPORT:

As of 9/1/2009 balance was $3919.83; Deposits: memberships, T-shirt sales, 50/50;

as of 10/6/2009 balance is $4335.33

OLD BUSINESS:

Events and shows attended by club members:

Walla Walla Fair parade - 1^st place ribbon for the club

Wheelin Walla Walla - local club award, 20 other awards went to club members

Palouse Days - 6 club members went, 1 winner

Ponies in the Sun - 6 members went, 3 winners

O'Brien Show & Shine - 10 to 15 members attended

Wa-Hi 55^th Class Reunion ( Bob Hartwell) - great time, 2 awards handed out and free food

PNWMC Fall Show in Paterson - 3 members braved the cold, the wind, the rain and rocks on the road, 2 winners

Warden - 3 members went, nice show

NEW BUSINESS:

Sunday, October 11^th there will be a Show & Shine at Wheatland Village (1 to 4 pm)

Party Committee needed for January party: Jeff Filbrandt volunteered, more volunteers needed and more information to come

Nominations for new club officers - More nomination can be accepted, want to throw you name in the hat, contact Maggie. Voting will take place at the November meeting.

So far the following people have volunteered to run:

Shanny H. for President

John W. for Vice-President

Stormy F. for Secretary

Laura Louise R. for Treasurer

Be ready to discuss club donations for the year, last year we gave monies to: meals on wheels, civil air patrol, SMMC cancer center, WWCC automotive, etc. Who will we donate to this year? We will discuss and vote at the November meeting.

Dairy Queen on the 9^th

Arby's on the 16^th

Del Taco on the23rd

El Sombrero on the 30^th (LAST ONE FOR THE YEAR, THANKS CRUISE COMMITTEE)
